Started in the United Kingdom in 2000, Roma has become an established name in the food trade industry.
Having been in the food commodity trade for over 20 years, Roma has been supplying clients with the highest quality materials from packaging to various types of food items ranging from Sugar to edible oils.
During this time Roma has gained vast knowledge of the industry whilst creating personal relationships with suppliers from all over the globe.
With this experience Roma has now expanded into the UAE with bringing a new business model - Private Label Packaging.
By utilising the experience and also the supplier contacts gained the proposition of opening a facility where Roma can source and package under one roof rather than just supply the materials to other businesses.
This full 360 solution now allows Roma to explore a new business avenue where market leaders such as Panda Hypermarket are able to utilise our business model for their own private label packaging of food products.
By offering companies such as Panda the highest quality food sources along side the highest quality packaging materials, Roma is very quickly establishing it’s name in the food packaging business.
With established suppliers of packaging materials and food sources from all over the globe, Roma can meet any requirements from our clients pairing this with a facility located in Jafza (Dubai, UAE) the business advantages for the company the clients allow global business with minimal trade restrictions.
Having only opened the facility in August 2021, Roma has already created the foundation for exponential growth within the food packaging industry by investing in modern food packing technology from VFFS automatic machines to Multi head packaging machines.
In this short space of time, Roma has established business with Panda Hypermarket, Carrefour and many other food manufacturers and distributors.
Our aim is to have our Branded products well known through out the world and sold under the Roma Private Label brand .
We have also integrated an in house marketing arm of the consumer pack goods division of the ROMA Group.
We have an international sales team based in UK, Singapore and Dubai.
With over 20 years experience in the industry and with such an industrial know how - our global network of supplier contacts have become extensive.
We consider quality control to be of utmost important to our business and we have implemented quality control measures at various stages of our production and operation processes.
These measures seek to ensure that the quality of our products satisfy the expectations of our customers and achieve high level industry standards.
In line with our vision to maintain good manufacturing practices, all our suppliers and partnered refineries have obtained ISO 9001 certification for the quality management systems.
As we believe in green initiatives and community care, we aim to identify, control and improve the environmental, health and safety impacts of our activities through ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 implementation.
Our suppliers and partnered refineries HACCP certification allows us to export our products to certain countries or regions. We are also Kosher certified and comply with Halal requirements according to Islamic Law.
